1 Introduction to Journal of Mosquito Research

Journal of Mosquito Research is an open access, peer reviewed journal published online by EmtoSci Publisher. The journal is publishing high quality original research on all aspects of mosquito and its affecting the living organisms, as well as environmental risk and public policy relevant to mosquito modified organisms. Topics include (but are not limited to) the research at molecular or protein level of mosquito, impact on the ecosystem, containing positive and negative information, natural history of mosquito, also publishing innovative research findings in the basic and applied fields of mosquito and novel techniques for improvement, as well as the significant evaluation of its related application field.

 

2 Aims and Scope

Journal of Mosquito Research is committed to publishing and disseminating all the latest and outstanding research articles, letters and reviews in all areas of mosquito research and the related field.

All papers chosen for publications should be creative reviews and opinions or innovative research work in the field of mosquito and its affecting the living organisms, as well as environmental risk and public policy relevant to mosquito modified organisms. Topics include (but are not limited to) the research at molecular or protein level of mosquito, impact on the ecosystem, containing positive and negative information, natural history of mosquito, also publishing innovative research findings in the basic and applied fields of mosquito and novel techniques for improvement, as well as the significant evaluation of its related application field. The primary criterion for publication is new insights that are not only of broad interest to scientists, and teachers/students/researchers engaged in mosquito research, but are also appropriate for R & D personnel as well as readers interested in mosquito research.


3 Publication mode

We are following the Open Access publishing model. All papers published in this journal are licensed to all users under the terms of Creative Commons Attribution License 3.0 (CCAL), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any media, provided the original work is properly cited (see EmtoSci Publisher Open Access Policy).

4 Criteria for publication
4.1 Similarity check

All submissions must be subjected to CrossRef's plagiarism check by CrossCheck. Only those with no any similarity compared in the CrossCheck database can be proceeded for peer review. Plagarism check in this journal is solely for the purpose of submissions language arts and does not imply any plagiarism or forging existed.

4.2 Peer-review
Scientists in the world are invited to be as peer reviewer in this journal. All submission will be automatically transferred online to the reviewers by Manuscript Handling System in the EmtoSci Publisher prior to CrossRef's plagiarism check by CrossCheck.

4.4 Indexing and archiving

Journal of Mosquito Research is archived in LAC (Library and Archives Canada) and deposited in CrossRef. The Journal has been indexed by ProQuest as well.

 

5 Publication Period 

Journal of Mosquito Research promises to offer much faster publication schedules. Normally it takes four to six weeks depending on the speed of peer review. Using the recommended manuscript preparation formats will largely speed up the paper procedures and shorten the periods. Research articles will be published electronically in provisional PDF immediately upon acceptance. A fully HTML web version and PDF download version will be available within four weeks after acceptance.

 

6 Preferred citation

Articles in this journal should be recommended to follow regular citation rules. There is an exception for unique article series and DOI instead of the page number.
